First Galaxy S26 Ultra unboxing video is out ahead of launch

Samsung is going to launch new Galaxy S series smartphones, which are expected to be the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra, tomorrow. However, with three days remaining for their official debut, a content creator, Sahil Karoul, got his hands on the top-of-the-line model, the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Since then, he has revealed many things about the device. Now, he has shared the unboxing video of the phone, and it is the first in the world.

As you can see in the video below, the Galaxy S26 Ultra that Sahil has managed to obtain is an international variant of the device aimed for sale in African countries, is made in Vietnam, features 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, and is white in color. The retail box contains a USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable, a SIM card tray ejection tool, and a Quick Start Guide. There's no charger in the box, as is the case with almost every smartphone nowadays.

Massive Galaxy S26 Ultra leak reveals its key specifications

According to the content creator, the Galaxy S26 Ultra's frame is made out of aluminium, and the phone weighs 215 grams. In the video, he shows that the device has a display with 3,120 x 1,440 pixels resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Privacy Display, Qualcomm’s latest flagship chipset for mobile devices, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, and a 5,000mAh battery.

The phone has four rear cameras and one front camera. The Camera app offers six default focal length (zoom) modes for rear cameras: 0.6x, 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, and 10x. The rear cameras can record up to 8K30FPS and 4K120FPS videos, whereas the front camera can record up to 4K60FPS videos. These are the same focal length and video recording modes as the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

So far, this massive Galaxy S26 Ultra leak has detailed its Privacy Display feature, shed light on its performance, showed that the periscope telephoto camera has a circular lens as opposed to a rectangular one in the Galaxy S25 Ultra, given us a look at the rear camera samples, and revealed that the phone's S Pen lacks Bluetooth and can be inserted correctly in only one way. It looks like it may even spawn more details soon.
